E&S retained Dave Richards of Keystone Business Advisors to represent them in the sale of the business. Royal Oak Property Services provides commercial property maintenance and commercial facility/store and construction services throughout Southern California. As general contractors, the company covers all trades needed to repair and maintain commercial properties to their highest value. Royal Oak services over 200 properties throughout Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange Counties. “After interviewing and meeting with several different buyers, the owners of Royal Oaks ultimately decided to sell to an individual which who was a senior executive for a large international real estate holding company where he was responsible for all the maintenance, repairs and improvements for the company’s vast real estate portfolio,” said Dave Richards. Dave further states “Due to the buyer’s direct industry experience, we were able find a bank that would finance 80% of the deal with 10% seller note which allowed the buyer to put only 10% down for the company. This was a direct benefit to the sellers as they wanted to walk away with as much cash as possible which would not have been possible without the SBA financing commitment.”
