(Westlake Village, CA)— Keystone Business Advisors announced that Monterey Media, an independent film distributor since the 1980’s, has been acquired by Tidal Wave, a division of Bayview Entertainment based in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Monterey Media’s library contains over 240 independent films, television programs and audio recordings in a variety of genres which are distributed mainly on Amazon Prime, Netflix and similar streaming video platforms. Monterey Media engaged Mark Richard of Keystone Business Advisors to represent them in the transaction.

Monterey Media’s titles include the classic surfing film The Endless Summer as well as the entire Bruce Brown catalog of surf and motorcycle themed films.
