Enhanced Landscape Management, Inc. (ELM) is a full-service landscape company which focuses primarily on landscape maintenance and new landscape installations for commercial, homeowner associations and residential customers within Southern California.
With a team of over 130 employees, including expert horticulturists and arborists, and 45 fully equipped trucks, the company has become known as the premier landscape service company in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. The company’s owner, Greg Epstein, was not interested in retiring, but was looking to sell to company that shared his vision for superior quality and one that he, his employees and his customers would respect.
Greg retained Dave Richards of Keystone Business Advisors to seek out this best-fit strategic buyer, negotiate the highest price possible and manage the transaction process. Keystone had produced three offers, two of which were strong and from company’s Greg had respect for. After some soul searching by Greg and negotiations by Dave, ELM had decided to move forward with a sale to Landscape Development, Inc. (LDI). LDI had successfully integrated ELM’s employees and customers into its company and Greg has stayed on in key management role focusing on business development.
