Dave Richards is an M&A Advisor and Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) with a comprehensive background in business sales, mergers & acquisitions, business valuation and sell-side M&A advisory services.
Dave started his business brokerage career in the middle of 2003 selling businesses for one of the largest business brokerage firms in the world. At the end of 2004, he founded Keystone Business Advisors with the objective of continuing to assist small business owners in the sale of their business as well as specialize in lower middle-market companies with market values between $5 million to $50 million.
Dave and his team assist business owners who are ready to go to market with preparing an opinion of value, creating the confidential offering memorandum to market the business, identify, qualify and reach out to financial and/or strategic buyers, negotiate the business terms of the sale and assist the parties in due diligence through closing.
Dave also provides advisory services such as expert witness consulting and works with business owners to better prepare their business for sale in the future. Prior to becoming a business intermediary, Dave had a successful 10-year career in operations and project management at leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer.
Dave earned an MBA in Business Management from Pepperdine University and a BS in Supply Chain Management and a BS in Real Estate from Arizona State University.
